Step 1: Getting your CPAP machine to us: Click Schedule Service to be directed to our service request form. Enter the necessary information and click “Submit”. Next, you will be redirected to a confirmation page, which will also be emailed to the address provided. Click the printer icon on the confirmation page to be directed to our UPS shipping label page. Once again, enter the necessary information and click “Process Shipment”. Please note to enter the weight as a whole number only, no letters or decimals. Not sure of the weight? Enter your best guess. Package your machine and bring it to a UPS drop off location. Don’t forget to bring your UPS shipping label! If you do not have packaging materials, you can purchase them at your nearest UPS Ground drop off location. Be sure to include main accessories such as power cord, humidifier, etc. Please, do not send modem or disposable supplies such as tubing, mask, etc. Don’t forget to make sure the humidifier water chamber is empty and dry.
Step 2: The Repair Once we receive your machine, we will log it into our computer tracking system and send you an email advising that we have received your machine. Next, we will schedule your CPAP machine for an evaluation, usually within a few days. Once completed, we will email you a detailed evaluation along with an estimate of cost for the repair. If approved, we will email an invoice for the total repair cost, including return shipping. There will be a link to make a secure payment. Once paid, we will complete the repair and return the machine to you, usually within 3 business days, depending on current work volume and parts availability. If declined, we will email an invoice for the return shipping only. If you would like to scrap and recycle your machine, the return shipping fee is waived and there will be no cost to you. We do not charge a fee for the evaluation. Revised Estimates: There are times when we complete the repair and it fails during the post repair calibration and run-in process. In this situation, your machine may require additional parts, in which case you will receive a revised estimate with the additional amount due. You can either approve the additional amount, or reply to the email to decline the repair. If declined, we will refund the original payment, less the return shipping cost.
Step 3: The Return Once the repair has been completed, calibrated, burned-in, and has passed all of the post-repair testing parameters, we will package your unit and ship it back to you via UPS Ground. Once shipped, you will receive an email containing a copy of the paid invoice along with the tracking number. Expedited shipping is available upon request for an extra charge.

I dropped my cpap off at UPS on a MONDAY to be shipped to Altra. They checked it out and I got a text on THURSDAY as to what was wrong with it. I paid for the repair that day and received my machine is great condition on FRIDAY. Who gives service like that today? Altra was so very helpful and did a great job fixing my DeVilbiss concentrator. They worked with me to allow me to drop it off, then they diagnosed it for free, and then fixed it while I waited. I know they also do repairs on shipped units, and are authorized service center for several brands.Great people and very knowledgeable. Don’t give up if they don’t answer the phone quickly. My machine had been making leaking noises and acting up for months, then the fan just stopped. I wrote emails to a number of companies that advertised that they repaired CPAP machines, with my model listed as one of the ones they repaired. I heard back from ASP almost immediately. One other company had written back the next day. I decided to go with ASP. The process of sending them my machine was easy. They notified me when they processed my shipment, with a complete estimate, including a gasket replacement. I immediately responded and paid for the service. Within a couple days they were shipping it back to me, which took two days. I don't remember my machine being so quiet. Very good job. I now know where to send my machine if I have any issues. I had a ResMed CPAP that was approximately 6 years old. The machine failed to function and I was told by my supplier that I would have to wait approximately 12 weeks for a new machine. This was wholly untenable. My supplier suggested that I try Altra CPAP Repair. It did take four weeks, start to finish, to get the machine repaired and returned but I received the machine yesterday afternoon and got the first full night of restful sleep that I have gotten in over 8 weeks. The motherboard on the machine failed and it was expensive to repair but I would do it again in a heartbeat.All of the personnel at Altra were helpful and professional. Great experience!!!
I had a noise problem with my CPAP machine and was told my machine was past the warranty and that I could not get another through Medicare until 2024. Then I found Altra service Professionals by phone calls and on Line. They were very efficient and polite and informative while explaining that they could repair my machine. They sent me the estimated cost and UPS delivery information immediately. I mailed the machine to them and within four days it was delivered back to me and was working perfectly. It was unbelievably fast and I would recommend them to anyone needing repairs on their CPAP machine.

My cpap quit in the middle of the night. My medicare provider was no help. I delivered it to Altra the next day and before I was out of the parking lot they had identified the problem (the power pack was shot), and had a new part in hand. Altra CPAP Repair is an amazing company. They have been servicing my Respironics CPAP macine now for 9 years. In that time they have gone above and beyond what would be expected from a service company multiple times but this last and most recent repair shows they are a company with a heart as well. I am on a fixed income and cannot afford to buy another new CPAP machine. I requested service and was told they could no longer work on this machine as Respironics no longer makes it and therefore doesn't support any parts replacement. However, Tony Ingham who I have had the pleasure of working with directly with their company in the past told me to send it in and they would dig up some parts to get it working again. Sure enough they had it repaired and back to me within 1 week. I want to thank Altra CPAP Repair and especially Tony Inghasm for their great service and customer support over the years and for caring about more than money. Obviously its a business and profit is the bottom line but they have shown me that satisfied customers and caring about individuals is also extremely important to their company.
